SOLIDWORKS Education is Dassault Systèmes' arm for students and educators — a global brand with a fast-moving social presence. In spring 2026 I joined the team as a design intern, refining how the brand showed up across its socials: tightening the guidelines, rebuilding the templates, and leading the campaign for the SOLIDWORKS Freemium launch.
When the internship ended, the relationship didn't. The team came back with a bigger ask — a custom asset-creation tool built for the way they actually work — and became an official client of BY Design.

After the internship, the EDU team commissioned this from BY Design — a browser-based asset generator that lets their team produce on-brand posts without a designer in the room. Structured content, brand rules baked in, export presets for every channel.
Translation — the whole layout re-sets itself in English, French, German, Italian, or Spanish from the language tabs. Type reflows, hierarchy holds, nothing breaks.
The text panel — headlines, sublines, and bullets are structured fields, not free canvas text. The post rewrites itself as you type, and the system keeps the hierarchy locked.
Corner assets — a library of brand props (mechanical parts, hard hats, grad caps, people) that snap to the canvas corners in preset positions, the way the identity uses them.
Formats & backgrounds — one design reframed for Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, or banner sizes, with brand colors, photo backgrounds, and blur handled in place.
The preview panel — assets are proofed in context before they ship: a live Instagram feed mockup and a LinkedIn post frame, slide by slide.
Export — name it, pick PNG, PSD, or AI/SVG, current slide or the whole set, 1x or 4x scale, straight to a folder. One dialog, done.
